Bob Odenkirk is gearing up to add “action star” to a resume that already includes “groundbreaking sketch comedy legend” and “Emmy-nominated dramatic actor,” with Deadline reporting that Odenkirk has signed on for a new action thriller titled Nobody. The film will center on Odenkirk as a regular guy pushed too far, leaving him with no choice but to loudly scream “Fuck!” and then, presumably, beat the shit out of a bunch of bad guys.
Nobody is being produced by (among others) Atomic Blonde director David Leitch, and written by John Wick screenwriter Derek Kolstad. (And now we can’t stop imagining an Odenkirk version of John Wick 2, where he quickly wears out his vocal cords by quietly yelling “God DAMN it!” every time he caps somebody in the head.)
