Carrie Fisher apparently sent a cow tongue to a producer who assaulted her friend
Inspired by the people coming forward with stories about Harvey Weinstein, a woman named Heather Ross who works in the movie industry recently sat down with a radio station in Arizona (via Mashable) and shared her own account of a different “Oscar-winning producer” who had sexually assaulted her by climbing on top of her and groping her while they were in his car. That part of her story is evidently all-too-common, but Ross says that her close friend Carrie Fisher came to her defense after hearing about what had happened.
At some point after the alleged assault, Fisher told Ross that she ran into the man while at Sony’s offices, and she left him a message:
I knew he would probably be there, so I went to his office and personally delivered a Tiffany’s box wrapped with the white bow. It was a cow tongue from Jerry’s Famous Deli with a note that said, ‘If you ever touch my darling Heather or any other woman again, the next delivery will be something of yours in a much smaller box.’
