Just to be clear: You weren’t hallucinating. (Or maybe you were, but it had nothing to do with the headline of this post.) Dave Chappelle did already announce one new comedy special, Equanimity, scheduled to appear on Netflix on New Year’s Eve. But today the streaming service revealed that after that first announcement, Chappelle quietly filmed a second comedy special, The Bird Revelation, and it’s also coming to Netflix.
We don’t know much about the content of The Bird Revelation—not even from the snippet of video included in the new teaser embedded above—but we do know that it was filmed at the Comedy Store in Los Angeles on November 20, and it’ll be available on Netflix on December 31.
