David Lynch adds himself to his Festival Of Disruption lineup
David Lynch’s Festival Of Disruption—a music/film/meditation fest—is happening on October 14 and 15 at the Ace Hotel in Los Angeles, and while it was already set to have a healthy level of Lynch due to a Lost Highway screening and a discussion about Twin Peaks: The Return, but now Lynch has decided that he might as well make an appearance himself. According to a press release, Lynch will be stopping by for an “in-depth talk” with biographer Kristine McKenna, but it doesn’t actually say what they’ll be talking about. It seems safe to assume that Lynch’s life and career will come up, but maybe they’ll set aside some time to discuss whatever the fuck happened in Twin Peaks: The Return.
Musician Rebekah Del Rio and Bill Hader have also been added to the festival’s lineup, joining previously announced performers like Bon Iver (though it’s technically just Justin Vernon), TV On The Radio, The Kills, Reggie Watts, Moby, and a whole bunch of others.
You can find more information at the festival’s website.
