Diane Lane and Greg Kinnear join the new, Spacey-less House Of Cards
In December, Netflix announced that House Of Cards would resume production with a new focus on Robin Wright’s Claire Underwood instead of her husband, Kevin Spacey’s Frank Underwood. The show had been put on hold earlier in 2017 as Spacey was hit with multiple sexual misconduct allegations, and Netflix eventually decided to fire him and keep House Of Cards around for one final season following a hiatus. Now, TVLine has shared some new details about season six of House Of Cards, including the fact that Diane Lane and Greg Kinnear will be joining the team as a pair of siblings.
Everything else about their characters is “top secret,” but we also now have confirmation that regular House Of Cards actors Michael Kelly, Jayne Atkinson, Boris McGiver, Derek Cecil, Patricia Clarkson, and Campbell Scott will all be sticking around. On top of that, Constance Zimmer’s journalist character Janine Skorsky will be coming back “in a big way” after sitting the fifth season out.
