Recently, former Boy Meets World stars Will Friedle, Rider Strong, and Danielle Fishel used an episode of their podcast to unpack their relationship with Brian Peck, a man who had appeared on their show and pleaded no contest to various charges related to sexually abusing a minor in 2004—for which he spent 16 months in prison and was ordered to register as a sex offender. Their discussion was most likely prompted by the release of a trailer for Quiet On Set: The Dark Side Of Kids TV, an upcoming Investigation Discovery series about exactly what it says on the title, and while it seems like it will largely focus on the allegations made against iCarly creator Dan Schneider, there will be new revelations about Peck as well.

Specifically, Quiet On Set will apparently feature Drake & Josh star Drake Bell telling—“for the first time,” according to a new clip—the story of “the abuse he suffered at the hands of Brian Peck.” Variety says that Peck was Bell’s dialogue coach (and, as far as we can tell, there is no relation between him and Bell’s Drake & Josh co-star Josh Peck), and the full Quiet On Set series will explore how he was “convicted in 2004 for his crimes against Drake and ordered to register as a sex offender.” The series premieres on ID on March 17, and you can see the clip below:

In 2021, Drake Bell was sentenced to two years of probation for attempted child endangerment after he sent explicit text messages to a teenage girl, having accepted a plea deal that allowed him to avoid registering as a sex offender. In a statement, the victim accused Bell of “grooming” her and said, “My life hasn’t been the same since I was 15. I think about these crimes every single day.” In his own statement, Bell said that he was “sorry that the victim was harmed in any way” and that that was not his “intention.”
