Elizabeth Banks reuniting with James Gunn for a new horror movie
It’s been 13 years since Guardians Of The Galaxy’s James Gunn made his feature directorial debut with the B-movie horror homage Slither, and now he’s reuniting with Elizabeth Banks, one of that film’s stars, for another horror project. According to Deadline, Gunn is producing the movie along with The H Collective and The Hive’s David Yarovesky will direct, but that’s pretty much all of the confirmed information we have about this movie.
We know it’ll be in the horror genre, but it doesn’t have a name and Deadline doesn’t give any kind of plot synopsis. In a statement, Gunn says that he and Banks have been “on the same artistic page” ever since Slither in 2005, and he’s been “fighting tooth and nail to work with her again.” Now that they are on another project together, though, maybe Banks can score one of those sweet celebrity cameos in the next Guardians Of The Galaxy movie.
