Every mystery is getting solved in this new trailer for Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie

Nickelodeon’s Hey Arnold! cartoon didn’t exactly have epic, inscrutable mysteries like Lost, but it did have a pair of plot threads that never really got resolved. Specifically, Helga never professed her undying, obsessive love for Arnold, and Arnold never really found out if his parents died on their fateful jungle adventure—it was very strongly implied that they did, because that explains why they left their kid for his whole life, but it was never definitive. The new TV movie Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie looks to finally wrap up the latter plot thread, as that seems to be the whole point of it, but this new teaser also suggests that it’s going to resolve the other one as well. Helga telling Arnold she likes him could be a dream or something, but there’s no really no reason to keep dragging this thing out.
