Everybody's posing for their trading card in new Blade Runner 2049 preview pics
A lot of studios and filmmakers want you to go into a movie knowing as little as possible, but Warner Bros. and director Denis Villeneuve seem intent on making the world of Blade Runner 2049 as clear as possible before you even set foot in the theater. We’ve already seen a couple of prequel clips, a hot whiskey tie-in, and multiple clips and trailers. Now, Warner Bros. and Alcon Entertainment have released a bunch of preview images that show pretty much every single character in the movie looking pensively off to the side or standing in a cool pose, nearly all of which would be perfect for a series of Blade Runner 2049 trading cards.
There are too many to come up with jokes or predictions about each one, so here are some general thoughts: Jared Leto looks like he probably loved being this character and hanging out in his weird living room, some of the future cars look like regular cars with weird shit bolted on (a proud Hollywood tradition), and the shot of Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling on the metallic shore of some futuristic body of water is very cool.
