Good news for a change: Carrie Fisher's dog is doing well

There may be some hope for this world after all: Carrie Fisher’s beloved therapy dog is hanging in there, despite the sudden loss of his human mom last year. Carrie Fisher’s sister Joely told Good Morning America that Gary the French Bulldog lives with Corby, Carrie’s assistant, and is keeping his cookie coffers stocked thanks to appearances at comic book conventions.

At a recent appearance at Stan Lee’s L.A. Comic Con, for instance, Gary pulled down $40 per “paw-tograph,” $20 per selfie, and $40 for a professional photo. Gary is at least a little benevolent, though—a portion of his tongue-friendly proceeds goes to charity.
