Harley Quinn is apparently still getting a solo spin-off along with her other 3 movies

David Ayer’s Suicide Squad movie was largely terrible, but some people seemed to enjoy Margot Robbie’s take on Harley Quinn, and now it seems like we’re going to be getting plenty more of her for the foreseeable future. Robbie’s Quinn is definitely going to have a big role in Suicide Squad 2, she’s reuniting with Ayer for Gotham City Sirens, she’s reuniting with Jared Leto’s Joker for a movie that’s separate from Suicide Squad 2, Warner Bros. wants Robbie to star in an animated Harley Quinn show for its new streaming service, and now Robbie says she’s still developing a solo Harley Quinn movie that is somehow separate from all of those other projects.

Robbie dropped that reveal in an interview with MTV (via io9), and the interviewer even asked her to clarify that the movie she’s talking about isn’t one of the others:

She doesn’t offer very much information, but this seems like it’s probably the same Harley Quinn spin-off that we reported on back in 2016. Common sense would suggest that the movie she was working on at that time had simply transformed into one of these other Harley Quinn movies, but no, there are apparently five different Harley Quinn things currently being developed.
