HBO extends its stay in Room 104
Mark and Jay Duplass have just booked another season of Room 104, their roulette wheel of an anthology series on HBO. The premium-cable network made the announcement earlier today, noting that the “format of Room 104 offers endless possibilities and opportunities for new talent to experiment.” The press release also refers to the Duplass brothers “gifted storytellers who have brilliantly reinvented the anthology series for the modern era,” so it looks like the love between HBO and the Togetherness creators is still going strong. Animals was recently picked up for a its third season (though the Duplasses only produce that), and now HBO’s officially left on the light for season two of Room 104. No production or premiere date has been set yet.
