HBO rings in 2019 with new footage of Game Of Thrones, Big Little Lies, and Watchmen

In what may be an effort to make some kind of showing at the 76th Golden Globes (no wins so far), HBO released a promo with snippets of footage from its many award-winning shows, past, present, and future. There’s Sansa (Sophie Turner) and Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) sizing each other up in Game Of Thrones, the introduction of Meryl Streep on Big Little Lies, as well as a more extensive look at all the freaky masks in Watchmen, a glimpse of an appropriately regal Helen Mirren in the upcoming Catherine The Great, and Zendaya (middle name “Is Meechee”) in the fraught teen drama, Euphoria.
