Here Comes The Boom

Taking the wage slave teacher-turned-MMA fighter premise of last year's Warrior and adding a healthy dose of Happy Madison, Here Comes The Boom stars Kevin James as a former collegiate wrestler who gets back in the ultimate fighting ring for the kids—an inspirational underdog story bolstered by its soaring music and total lack of fart jokes (at least, in the trailer). In fact, a relatively physically fit James only faceplants occasionally, a risky tinkering with the Kevin James formula that underscores how important this movie's message is. Keep falling down, Kevin James. We'll fix the public school system yet.
