The 2018 Oscar nominees were announced today, including a nod for Ildikó Enyedi’s starkly beautiful On Body And Soul, which is one of the many new additions to Netflix’s bounty next month. Aside from the complete Ocean’s and Kill Bill franchises, there’s plenty of original content in the pipeline for February, including the sci-fi adaptation Altered Carbon starring Joel Kinnaman, the Queer Eye reboot, the documentary Seeing Allred, the debut of The Joel McHale Show With Joel McHale, and a new installment of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman.
As always, making room for new talk shows and lifestyle series means giving up syndicated and Ricky Gervais-adjacent programming, so prepare to say goodbye (for now) to all of Burn Notice, Family Guy, and An Idiot Abroad, among others.
