Hulu orders two seasons of the Animaniacs reboot

It’s (almost) time once again for Animaniacs, with Variety reporting that the Warner brothers—and the Warner sister, Dot—are officially on their way to Hulu. The streaming service has just signed a two-season deal with Amblin Entertainment and Warner Bros. for the rebooted version of the beloved ’90s animated anthology, with original co-creator Steven Spielberg once again taking up the show’s executive producer chair.

The series will reportedly return in 2020, although it’s not clear yet whether there are deals in place to bring back the show’s beloved vocal cast, including Rob Paulsen, Tress MacNeille, Jess Harnell, and The Brain himself, Maurice LeMarche. Meanwhile, the deal also means promising news for the original series, too; Hulu is now the “official home” for the entire run of the original show—along with Pinky And The Brain, Pinky, Elmyra, And The Brain (ugh), and the entirety of Tiny Toon Adventures—ensuring that an official release of “Cheese Roll Call” need never be far from your ears:
