Jackée is also on board for this Sister, Sister reboot
That Sister, Sister reboot is no longer just an idea that Tia Mowry tosses out from time to time as a kind of job listing, though the revival’s still in search of a writer, director, and basically anyone who isn’t Jackée Harry, Tim Reid, or Tia and Tamera Mowry. According to Harry’s recent appearance on The Steve Harvey Show, the reboot is officially underway.
“Yeah, it’s happening!” a beaming Harry told Harvey’s gleaming chompers. But lest you think Harry, a veteran of sitcoms like 227 and Jackée, is only acting out of some obligation, she told the talk show host she’s “excited.” So are “Tia and Tamera [Mowry] … my babies, too.” Apparently, the twins who played twins for six seasons of the ABC (and later, WB) series can’t wait to play onscreen siblings again opposite their TV adopted mother. “They won’t leave me alone. I can’t get rid of none of these women!” Harry said, though presumably not under duress or anything.
But though three-quarters of the core cast are on board, ABC hasn’t picked up what they’re selling—People reports the reboot is not currently in development at that network.
