Love him or loathe him, James Corden isn’t going anywhere soon. Whether motivated by a sense of FOMO over missing out on Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, Seth Meyers, and John Oliver’s short-lived “Strike Force Five” podcast, or because a non-visual medium is appealing after the very public outcry to that video of him hip-thrusting in a mouse costume, James Corden is taking his talents to the radio.

Sometimes in early 2024, the former The Late Late Show host will debut his new Sirius XM talk show, titled This Life of Mine With James Corden. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show will “seek to tell the untold stories of some of the most well-known public figures.” No word yet on whether those guests will include familiar Late Late Show faces like Harry Styles, Mariah Carey, Kim Kardashian, and Tom Cruise, or draw from a wider pool of industries and interests.

“I am thrilled to be joining SiriusXM,” Corden shared in a statement. “Scott [Greenstein, SiriusXM’s president and chief content officer] and the whole team have made me feel so welcome as I start this new chapter. It’s a dream to have a space to engage in deep conversations with the people whose work and talent I greatly admire.”

After a tenure filled with high highs (pretty much every carpool karaoke segment) and low lows (that whole Balthazar scandal, not to mention claims that he’s “difficult and obnoxious” behind the scenes), Corden officially stepped down from The Late Late Show April of this year. This was also a swan song for the series as a whole, which will be replaced by a reboot of internet-themed comedy panel show @midnight. This new series—titled After Midnight—will be hosted by comedian Taylor Tomlinson, making her both the youngest and only female host on late night television right now.
