Jon Hamm to play Boba Fett in new Star Wars audiobook
The upcoming Star Wars short story collection From A Certain Point Of View will feature stories about supporting characters from the universe from a number of relatively big-name and fan-favorite writers, including Gary Whitta (who actually wrote a Star Wars), Meg Cabot, Nnedi Okorofor, Wil Wheaton, Kelly Sue DeConnick, Paul Dini, Matt Fraction, and Griffin McElroy. Now, the Star Wars people have announced an audiobook version that will feature a couple of people who are probably even more famous than those writers: Jon Hamm and Neil Patrick Harris.
Hamm will be providing the voice of lovable bounty hunter Boba Fett, while Harris will be playing an Imperial officer working on the Death Star. That probably means his story is about getting blown up, but we don’t know for sure yet. They won’t be reading the whole book, though, and the other readers include Jonathan Davis, Marc Thompson, Ashley Eckstein, and Janina Gavankar—who Star Wars fans may already recognize as Iden Versio from the upcoming Battlefront II video game.
From A Certain Point Of View will be available on October 3.
