“After much reflection, meditation, and prayer,” Jon Stewart has officially “decided to extend [his] work week to two days,” according to a very on-brand press release. Whether it is because he missed out on being a regular member of the Strike Force Five podcast, hosted by his buddies Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers, and John Oliver last fall, or—more likely—because the news is coming at a rate way too fast to be covered in just one day as of late, then new/old host of The Daily Show is trying his hand at a different medium.

Stewart’s podcast, The Weekly Show With Jon Stewart, will feature the same acerbic rundowns of current events and breaking news we’ve come to expect from the Emmy and Peabody Award winning-host. According to a press release, it will also feature “a variety of guests, including newsmakers, authors and celebrities.” The podcast is set to launch across all platforms sometime in early June.

“This new podcast enables Jon to delve even deeper into complex issues and make sense of it for all for us through his razor-sharp wit and indelible humor,” said Chris McCarthy, president and CEO of Paramount Media Networks. Stewart has been doing the same over at the television version of The Daily Show ever since the surprise announcement of his return this past January. Since officially retaking the chair one day a week, Stewart has used his time to critique both Trump and Biden, offer some solutions to the crisis in Palestine with varying levels of sincerity, and address Trump’s trial, AI, and more.

“All hail Comedy Central!” Stewart added in his statement. The network will be producing the podcast, along with MTV Entertainment Studios and Paramount Audio.
