Kendrick unveils the track list for his Black Panther soundtrack album
It’s kind of a coin-flip about which one we’re excited for more: Ryan Coogler’s upcoming superhero throwdown, Black Panther, or Kendrick Lamar’s long-anticipated soundtrack for the film. As of today, that conundrum is at least a little more well-informed; Lamar released the track listing for the album on Twitter, and it’s packed with some of the finest hip-hop talent in the game.
We already knew about “All The Stars” and “King’s Dead”—featuring, respectively, SZA, and Jay Rock, Future, and James Blake—both of which Lamar has already debuted. But this thing is absolutely packed with Top Dawg top talent, including tracks from Schoolboy Q, 2 Chainz, Ab-soul, Travis Scott, and more. The album arrives on February 9, one week ahead of the film’s already record-breaking release.
