Kevin Spacey is borderline unrecognizable in the trailer for Ridley Scott's All The Money In The World
The first trailer for Ridley Scott’s new historical kidnapping drama All The Money In The World arrived on the internet today, treating the world to Kevin Spacey’s most dramatic transformation since his talking cat movie Nine Lives. Spacey plays crusty old oil tycoon J. Paul Getty, the wealthy, craggy-faced industrialist who initially refused to pay a $17 million ransom demand to secure the safety of his kidnapped grandson in 1973.
Scott’s film co-stars Michelle Williams as the boy’s mother, pleading with her father-in-law to save her son, with Mark Wahlberg as one of Getty’s advisers who helps her make her case. Still, they’re going up against Spacey in full-on ancient gargoyle mode, so we’ll have to wait until December 8—or, you know, check Wikipedia—to see how the conflict plays out.
