Kristen Stewart and Lupita Nyong’o might be joining the Charlie's Angels reboot

Elizabeth Banks has teamed up with Sony to reboot Charlie’s Angels, the campy TV series about beautiful and kick-ass detectives that spawned a film series which then led to another TV show. Hoping that the fourth time will be the charm—since that Minka Kelly-starring show failed to really take off—the film is already on the release schedule for June 7, 2019, despite not having anyone attached to star yet.

But according to The Wrap, there’s finally grist for the casting rumor mill, as Kristen Stewart and Lupita Nyong’o are reportedly in “early talks” to star in the movie, which will be directed by Banks. There’s no word on who will join the Personal Shopper and The Last Jedi actresses as the third personable yet perceptive investigator. But given how quickly that Rihanna and Nyong’o movie came together after a photo of the two was posted on Twitter, we can probably let the internet cast them.
