Lara Croft is a survivor, is not gonna give up in new Tomb Raider trailer

When the last trailer for the Alicia Vikander-starring Tomb Raider movie reboot came out, we noted that it was so faithful to the 2013 Tomb Raider video game reboot that anyone who played the game didn’t even really need to see the clip. This new trailer thankfully has some more stuff that won’t be immediately familiar to video game players, specifically a brief glimpse of Lara’s life before she gets stranded on the tomb-filled island that involves dangerously biking through London traffic and getting bopped in the face while boxing. Once she does get on the island, though, it’s all 2013 Tomb Raider video game action, right down to the ice axe she could use to climb up to new areas or melee kill enemy dudes, the bow she could use to stealth kill enemy dudes, and the rifle-mounted grenade launcher she could use to open new paths (and blow up enemy dudes).

Tomb Raider, which was directed by Roar Uthaug, will be in theaters on March 16.
