Netflix has announced that the upcoming third season of its Judd Apatow-produced dramedy series Love will be its last. This is per Variety, which notes that the series—which stars Gillian Jacobs and Paul Rust as two people who almost certainly should not be in a romantic relationship—returns for its last season on March 9.
Rather than focus on the sadness of Love’s labors being lost, though, Apatow expressed his excitement about the upcoming finale in a press statement earlier today, saying, “I am really excited about the third season of Love. I think it is our sweetest, funniest season and ends our story in a beautiful way.” Besides Rust and Jacobs, the series also stars Claudia O’Doherty.
