Martin Short and Steve Martin did a very good job filming a promo for their Netflix special

Most performers like to put on a fancy show even when they’re promoting a fancy show, which seems like it must be very tiring. For their upcoming Netflix special, though, Martin Short and Steve Martin just made a short video of themselves talking about what they’re doing, and while their approach is fairly simple and straightforward, they also just did a real good job of it. Really, we don’t see a single thing wrong with the cute little clip you can see up above, and it does a good job setting up the silly dynamic between these legendary funny people.

Goofy video aside, their special is called Steve Martin And Martin Short: An Evening You Will Forget For The Rest Of Your Life, and it will premiere on Netflix later this year. According to a press release, the special will feature “new material presented in a variety of musical sketches and conversations about their iconic careers, most memorable encounters, and of course, their legendary lives in show-business and stand-up.” There will also be music from The Steep Canyon Rangers, a Grammy-winning bluegrass band.
