Morrissey launches pre-orders for new album, teases U.S. tour dates

After briefly popping up on Twitter yesterday to tease a new song (or maybe just to embrace the inherent frivolity of social media with a nod to lazy days), Morrissey has jumped straight to promoting his upcoming full-length album Low In High School. The album, which will be Morrissey’s first since World Peace Is None Of Your Business in 2014, will be available on November 17. You can pre-order it at this link in various different bundles, one of which comes with a t-shirt that says “Who will protect us from the police?” and the album on cassette, which seems targeted toward a very specific group of left-leaning, walkman-owning Moz fans.

Going back to Morrissey’s Twitter tease yesterday, he has also shared a new single from the album, an ode to self-care called “Spent The Day In Bed,” and you can hear it below. Morrissey is also teasing a U.S. tour, but rather than reveal specific dates and venues, he has only revealed a list of the states he’ll be visiting:
