Muppets Most Wanted Teaser Trailer on Disney Video

The Muppets are back, in what this trailer reminds repeatedly is a sequel to Jason Segel's delightful 2011 revival. This time Segel doesn’t return but all the familiar elements do, in a whirlwind of celebrity cameos, musical numbers, karate chops, movie parodies, and Swedish cuisine gone wrong. There’s also the barest glimpse of plot, which involves Ty Burrell's Interpol agent recruiting the gang to help take down criminal mastermind Constantine (Kermit, in a dual role) and sidekick Ricky Gervais. We also get the long-awaited first glimpse of Tina Fey as a Russian prison guard, and, for some reason, a bunch of penguins singing "Moves Like Jagger." No doubt the Internet’s various Statlers and Waldorfs will have plenty of nasty comments about that last part.
