Netflix is launching a Wormwood podcast to further fulfill your true-crime entertainment needs

Sure, true-crime TV is great, but we all know where entertainingly in-depth investigations of real-life deaths really belong: Podcast-land. Acknowledging this Serial-inspired inevitability, Netflix has announced that it’s launching a companion podcast for its new Errol Morris series Wormwood, featuring an even-more robust investigation into the supposedly CIA-assisted death of scientist Frank Olson, and his son Eric’s investigation into his alleged murder.

Besides Morris himself, the podcast will feature contributions from series star Peter Sarsgaard, Eric Olson, and author Jon Ronson, who wrote about Frank Olson’s death for his book The Men Who Stare At Goats. Netflix previously did something similar for its hit docuseries Making A Murderer; meanwhile, there are three episodes of the Wormwood podcast already out on iTunes right now.
