Netflix users were more interested in American Vandal’s dicks than The Confession Tapes

Even though Netflix is loath to tell us exactly how many of its subscribers are watching what, the streaming platform does release its own year-end list of superlatives like any good media company. And the original series that users couldn’t get enough of, that they binged at a rate of 2+ hours of viewing per day, ignoring their hygiene and need for sustenance is… American Vandal.

Yep, according to a press release, American Vandal’s mysterious dicks helped it top the list of the 10 “shows we devoured” (there’s a joke in there somewhere). Here are the other shows that kept people indoors for hours or days at a time during a fall/early winter that was more comfortable than most.

Overall, the true-crime genre killed, with The Keepers and The Confession Tapes also landing in the top 10. But what about the people with a little more restraint? What do they like to take in only an episode or two at a time, but still see through to the end, perhaps while also perusing regular reviews? The Crown seems to be the ultimate investment, with another great adolescent comedy, Big Mouth, landing in second.

But again, what of those with less restraint, who’d promised their partners and significant others they’d complete that Black Mirror binge together, only to finish the last season on their own (possibly while on the toilet)? These are the top 10 shows they watched ahead in secrecy:

There’s also some top 10 family viewing options, which you can find in this graphic, right under a wine graphic.
