New Pacific Rim: Uprising trailer adds even more big-ass robots

Our first extended look at Pacific Rim: Uprising made it clear that the great kaiju-yaeger battle is far from over, and that the Pentecost family (repped here by John Boyega as Jake) is still on the frontlines. The second trailer throws some new adversaries in the mix, which are, reliably enough, also some big-ass robots.

Along with Jake, Nate Lambert (Scott Eastwood) marvels at the arrival of another heavily-armed yaeger before they recruit some more soldiers to play mecha warriors. There are some more giant machines flying around, including some sexy new streamlined figures, which elicit a strong reaction from Dr. Geiszler (Charlie Day), who apparently didn’t learn his lesson the last time around.

After a slightly longer stay in training camp than expected, Pacific Rim: Uprising will hit theaters March 23, 2018.
