New York's Plaza Hotel is offering a pricey Home Alone 2 anniversary package

Home Alone 2: Lost In New York isn’t as good as the first movie, but at least it has some fun nonsense with Kevin McCallister hanging around New York’s Plaza Hotel, coming up with schemes to freak out Tim Curry and watching violent mobster movies. Apparently pleased with its major role in a movie that some people kind of liked, the real Plaza Hotel has announced a special Home Alone 2 event in honor of the movie’s 25th anniversary. Called “Live Like Kevin,” the special package will provide guests with a “paint can with all five Home Alone DVDs,” an exclusive Home Alone 2 backpack, and an “over-the-top ice cream sundae” that you can eat in your hotel room, all for the reasonable price of $895.

If you’re looking for a more elaborate Home Alone 2 experience, you can also order a number of additions, including special access to Central Park’s Wollman ice rink, a four-hour limousine tour of New York, and express passes to the top of the Empire State Building. The hotel’s Todd English Food Hall will also have special food for ‘90s kids, including (as noted by Mashable) fancy Lunchables for $31 and $15 cocktails made from—blegh—Sunny-D and Zima.

Unfortunately, the Plaza’s website doesn’t say if your Home Alone 2 experience will also include an appearance from a certain rich asshole with stupid hair and little hands who sucks at everything, but he probably has more important things to do these days than feed his pathetic ego with pointless cameos.
