Of course Call Of Duty: WWII has Nazi zombies in it
It might not get as much attention as the series’ over-the-top campaigns or ever-popular competitive multiplayer, but Call Of Duty’s wacky zombie mode has been building up its own mythology and dedicated fanbase for years. It began as a test of survival against hordes of undead Nazis in Call Of Duty: World At War, and has gotten progressively campier and more complex with each of the three Black Ops games. With the series returning to World War II this year, it’s only natural that Call Of Duty: WWII’s version marks a big-time return of Nazi zombies. Today, Activision published the first trailer for the upcoming co-op mode, and it’s looking way more intense than usual.
The new Nazi Zombies mode will tell its own story that has players combing a Bavarian village for artwork that’s been stolen by Axis powers and uncovering an occult plot to “unleash an invincible Nazi army of the dead.” We know what you’re thinking, and yes, it is pretty much The Monuments Men but with way more hulking undead monstrosities.
