Puberty is scarier than ever in this trailer for Nick Kroll's Big Mouth

In this trailer for his Netflix animated series Big Mouth, Nick Kroll plays a teenager who is plagued by a literal hormone monster, and if that sounds like a fun metaphor for puberty, then you should probably watch the trailer. Big Mouth looks like anything but fun, as much like puberty itself, it seems to be more interesting in being scary and weird and gross and confusing. Luckily, there’s a bunch of funny famous people on board to help shepherd you through this animated adventure in puberty, including John Mulaney, Jason Mantzoukas, Jordan Peele, Jenny Slate, Jessi Klein, Maya Rudolph, and Fred Armisen.

Big Mouth will premiere on Netflix on September 29.
