Rick And Morty would like you to know about Logic's new mixtape
It’s no surprise that Rick And Morty’s Rick Sanchez is up on his modern music—this is the guy who wrote “Get Schwifty,” after all. Hence, presumably, a new video posted by rapper Logic today, in which Rick (Justin Roiland, yelling at himself as usual) schools his grandson Morty on the differences between “album Logic” and “mixtape Logic,” all leading up to the announcement of the latest appearance by the latter, the upcoming Bobby Tarantino II.
Promising “some good ol’ fucking ATL-style club rap, Morty,” the clip manages to feel like a real Rick And Morty moment (as the show’s various dips into the world of cross-promotion usually do). Meanwhile, the mixtape itself—the follow-up to 2016's Bobby Tarantino—arrives on Friday, in case you’re in desperate need of some shit you can turn up, stat.
