As much fun as it might be for you to throw on your finest Ikea rugs and talk about how you won’t be knitting by the fire, Kit Harington has been there, muttered that. The Game Of Thrones actor recently told Heat (via Uproxx) that he’s very much over the long shoots and long hair required for the HBO drama. Harington’s modified his look slightly by shaving his beard here and there, but he’s otherwise been stuck with the same hairstyle for years. But he says his former co-star and new fiancée Rose Leslie isn’t quite as eager for him to ditch the furs.
Harington revealed that Leslie not only bought him a Jon Snow costume for a party, but she also joked “I won’t love you if you don’t wear it.” Naturally, he wore it to the party, where he says everyone from the cater waiters to the guests looked at him as if to say, “You’re a sad man! You’ve come to a party dressed as your character!” And sure, it’s not the most inspired look, certainly not after playing Jon Snow for years, but at least he probably got to carry a sword, which is always cool.
