Roseanne answers the question, "didn't Dan die?," in the first trailer for ABC's revival

The Academy Awards may be all about glitz and glamour for the Hollywood players in attendance, but for regular people at home, the night is all about hanging out and watching TV. It’s appropriate, then, that ABC decided to show off a teaser for its big Roseanne revival tonight during the Oscars. And although the trailer sidesteps the question of Roseanne’s newfound enthusiasm for conservative politics, it does answer one question that’s been plaguing fans since the revival was first announced: Didn’t Dan die at the end of the show’s original run?

Roseanne returns to ABC on March 27.
