Rush Limbaugh forced to flee "liberal hoax" Hurricane Irma

Hurricane Irma is about to hit the continental U.S., where it’s expected to wreak potentially catastrophic devastation on the state of Florida. At least, that’s what you’d believe if you’re the kind of pinhead who listens to scientists or the National Weather Service, those hollow bastions of liberal un-truth. Listeners to Rush Limbaugh’s radio show know that Irma is just the latest arrow in a quiver full of fakey-fake Democrat lies about climate change, a loudly-shouted, confidently bloviated argument that was only slightly undercut today by the fact that Limbaugh—who lives in Palm Beach, Florida—has now fled the expected area of impact

This is per ThinkProgress, which notes that Limbaugh’s show failed to air today, with the radio host issuing a statement saying that it would be “legally impossible” to record in South Florida this week. That goes counter to arguments Limbaugh floated on Tuesday, in which he stated,

There is a desire to advance this climate change agenda, and hurricanes are one of the fastest and best ways to do it. You can accomplish a lot just by creating fear and panic. You don’t need a hurricane to hit anywhere. All you need is to create the fear and panic accompanied by talk that climate change is causing hurricanes to become more frequent and bigger and more dangerous, and you create the panic, and it’s mission accomplished, agenda advanced.

Also advancing: Rush Limbaugh, out of South Florida, and at speed. The host said the show will be back on the air on Monday, broadcasting from “parts unknown,” which are likely to be subjected to serious winds every single time he opens his mouth.
