Saturday Night Live
If the shutdown of just about everything fun and/or functional in New York had you concerned that Louis C.K. might not make it to his hosting gig at Saturday Night Live—especially as Louis C.K. was recently pretty clear about where he stands on comedy in the midst of natural disasters—the above promo reassures you that the show will go on. After some Halloween-related goofing around with Bill Hader, C.K. avows that, no matter what, they're going to be right there, most likely splitting the show evenly between sketches mocking the election and the hurricane. Or maybe just ignoring everything topical for some sort of half-baked, evergreen idea about a weird guy who talks funny that's been kicking around for months, because the SNL writers had to deal with a hurricane this week.
