Sean Combs, a.k.a. Diddy, now faces a third sexual assault lawsuit, according to TMZ. Combs was first accused of rape and abuse by his ex-partner Cassie, a civil suit which was quickly settled out of court. However, with New York’s Adult Survivors Act set to expire on Friday, two additional lawsuits were filed against the hip hop mogul with similar accusations.

According to Rolling Stone, the most recent suit filed by a Jane Doe accuses Combs and singer-songwriter Aaron Hall of raping her and her friend in 1990 or 1991. The women met Combs and Hall at a record event where the men flirted and bought them drinks; eventually they were invited back to Hall’s apartment. “While at Hall’s apartment, Jane Doe was offered more drinks and was coerced into having sex with Combs. After Combs finished doing his business, Jane Doe laid in bed, shocked and traumatized. As she was in the process of getting dressed, Hall barged into the room, pinned her down and forced Jane Doe to have sex with him,” the suit states. Jane Doe fled the apartment, later discovering that her friend was also assaulted by both men.

Days later, Combs allegedly visited the home where Jane Doe and her friend are staying. “He was irate and began assaulting and choking Jane Doe to the point that she passed out,” reads the complaint. “Combs was searching for Jane Doe’s friend because he was worried that she would tell the girl he was with at the time what he and Hall had done to them.” Jane Doe reportedly told friends and family about the assault, and sought medical treatment afterwards.

Another lawsuit, filed on Thursday, alleged that Combs had drugged a young woman, at the time a student at Syracuse University, while they were on a date in 1991 (per Rolling Stone). He then took her to where he was staying and sexually assaulted her, allegedly filming the encounter: “Days later, a male friend revealed to her that he had viewed the ‘sex tape’ along with other men,” the suit claims.

In a statement to TMZ, a rep for Combs denied the ex-Syracuse student’s accusation, saying, “This last-minute lawsuit is an example of how a well-intentioned law can be turned on its head. [The] 32-year-old story is made up and not credible. Mr. Combs never assaulted her and she implicates companies that did not exist. This is purely a money grab and nothing more.”

The expiration of the Adult Survivors Act has resulted in a number of new lawsuits, including against the former president of Combs’ label Bad Boy Records Harve Pierre, actor Jamie Foxx, Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose, photographer Terry Richardson, producer L.A. Reid, and New York mayor Eric Adams. According to the Associated Press, more than 2,500 suits have been filed since the Adult Survivors Act went into effect in May 2022.
