Season 2 of Luke Cage has a premiere date and an important message for all bad guys

Marvel’s Jessica Jones is about to return to Netflix for a second season, but just in case you don’t want to wait until Friday for more action that’s totally separated from the movies, Netflix has dropped a new teaser for season two of Luke Cage. The clip is very short, but it does have two important moments: The reveal of a premiere date (June 22) and Mike Colter’s Luke Cage delivering a message to the bad guys of Harlem that is, essentially, “don’t fuck with Luke Cage.” It’s cool, it’s fun, and it’s a nice reminder of why Marvel’s Luke Cage was so much more entertaining than Iron Fist—though having Mahershala Ali on board for half of the first season certainly didn’t hurt.

Luke Cage, as noted above, will return to Netflix on June 22.
