Somebody Up There Likes Me

As we recently learned and will subsequently never, ever forget, Nick Offerman has a knack for self-promotion. And so, rather than give you an ordinary trailer for Somebody Up There Likes Me by way of promoting the fact that Tribeca Film recently picked up the distribution rights to the Offerman-produced indie comedy, Offerman cut the above video in which he, wife Megan Mullally, and Alison Brie—Offerman's fellow NBC Thursday night star and object of intense Internet worship—take bong rips and talk about it, sort of. Again, they could just tell you that the film stars Offerman and Keith Poulson as coworker pals slacking through 35 years of romantic entanglements revolving around a waitress, or that it garnered some encouraging reviews when it played this year's SXSW Film Festival, or that it's now due to be released in the spring of 2013, both digitally and in theaters. But the ever-astute Offerman knows you'd much rather watch him, Mullally, and Brie get stoned together, so do that.
