“Los Ageless” isn’t just a song off St. Vincent’s upcoming Masseduction album—it’s also a people and a state of mind that the art rocker resists in this new video. The lyrics riff on Hollywood’s obsession with youth, which it tries to impose on residents, turning them all into “Los Ageless.”
Annie Clark subjects herself to various procedures in this video from Willo Perron, which includes visuals that mix The Ring with an old Maxell commercial. But when Clark defiantly strums her guitar, it’s clear that, despite this being her most “personal” album to date, she’s not going to suffer for her art—not by going under the knife, anyway.
