Star Wars: Detours

Some might say that, after years of Family Guy and Robot Chicken parodies (not to mention a couple decades of the Internet) there isn't much humor left to be mined from spoofing Star Wars. And you won't get much of a counter-argument from the above trailer or the below preview clips for the new, Lucasfilm-sanctioned Star Wars: Detours—hailing from Robot Chicken creators Seth Green and Matt Senreich, who trade in Darth Vader gags like other comedians work in dick jokes—which promises to provide little in the way of novelty, beyond whatever line of grotesquely bulging Star Wars merchandise will debut once the show eventually finds a network. Anyway, maybe try imagining someone showing Harrison Ford this. That would be sort of funny.
