Super Troopers 2 teaser only gets in one meow

If anyone was worried that the upcoming Super Troopers sequel would dull the sense of humor that the Broken Lizard guys brought to the original, this new teaser should put those fears to rest. In a way, it seems like there’s nothing about this quick clip that would’ve seemed out of place in the original movie, from the guy getting shaved because he still can’t/won’t grow a mustache to Brian Cox’s character screaming at his goofball subordinates, and it even ends on a big callback to the first movie’s most memorable gag—though the teaser only gets in a single “meow.”

As we previously reported, Super Troopers 2 will be released on April 20, 2018—a.k.a. the big weed day—which the clip acknowledges multiple times.
