Teenage rebellion meets human sacrifice in the first trailer for Marvel's Runaways

Marvel released the first look at its new Hulu series Runaways today, an adaptation of the fan-beloved comic series that asked the question: What if your parents really were the supervillains you thought they were when you were growing up?

Today’s teaser offers up one of the most shocking moments from the original run of the comics, when teens Alex Wilder (Rhenzy Feliz), Nico Minoru (Lyrica Okano), Karolina Dean (Virginia Gardner), Gert Yorkes (Ariela Barer), Chase Stein (Gregg Sulkin), and Molly Hernandez (Allegra Acosta, who looks a lot older than her pre-teen character did in the books) stumble on their upper class, tasteful parents committing an upper class, tasteful bit of human sacrifice, and decide to go on the run.

Hulu is set to premiere the series on Tuesday, November 21, launching the show with the first three episodes of its ten-episode first season.
