Terry Crews drops his agent after filing groping incident police report
Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Terry Crews has just fired his talent agency, WME, as part of the fallout of an incident in which a top-level executive at the company allegedly groped him during a party. According to Deadline, Crews made the announcement earlier today, not long after reporting the incident—which he first discussed on Twitter, way back at the start of the Harvey Weinstein scandal—to police.
Adam Venit, the man Crews has accused of walking up to him and grabbing his genitals during a party, is the head of WME’s motion picture group, and one of its most senior members. He was put on leave by the company a short time ago in connection with Crews’ allegations against him. Meanwhile, Crews is still being managed by 3 Arts Entertainment, which also ended up in the news today, thanks to its connections to client Louis CK.
