The Canyons

Kanye West has scored a new version of The Canyons trailer, probably as a favor for Bret Easton Ellis, his American Psycho pal and writer of The Canyons. The film is out now, stars Lindsay Lohan and James Deen, was directed by Paul Schrader, and, according to pretty much everyone, isn’t very good.

According to Pitchfork, West reworked the trailer alongside editor Nate Brown and musical collaborator Noah Goldstein. West’s music doesn’t appear in the film, but that doesn’t mean that The Canyons is without indie cred: Broken Social Scene’s Brendan Canning did the score for the movie.
