The Force is with this handmade, shot-by-shot recreation of The Last Jedi trailer

Odds are you’ve been obsessing over the trailers for The Last Jedi, combing every second for clues as to who will fight, who will die, and who will love BB8 now that porgs are a thing (besides Laura Dern, of course). Still, your fandom pales in comparison to the dorks of comedy outfit Dumb Drum, who have just released a stunning shot-by-shot recreation of the movie’s trailer.

Now, when we say “stunning,” we mean “stunningly accurate.” Since Dumb Drum doesn’t have access to the gadgets and VFX artists as one of the world’s most powerful Hollywood studios, they had to get creative. That means toys, cans, paint, stuffed animals, and a whole lot of cardboard had to do the heavy lifting. Of course, that’s part of the charm here, as are the committed performances of not-quite Rey, Finn, Poe, and Kylo Ren.

The geniuses at Dumb Drum know this means they’ll have to a shot-by-shot recreation of the movie next, right? View their full trailer above, and a side-by-side comparison of the two below:
