The God's Not Dead trilogy reaches its thrilling conclusion in this new trailer

It’s all been leading to this: Every lapsed believer will have their faith restored, every heartless atheist will be dunked on, and every dedicated priest who always had hope will now be vindicated by this heaven-shattering trailer for God’s Not Dead: A Light In Darkness, the thrilling end to the GND trilogy. Pump your fists as a man fights to protect his church, boo and hiss as a state-run university begins to question whether or not Christianity is even necessary, and then solemnly bow your head in respect as God finally makes his appearance, proving once and for all that he’s not only not dead, but that he’s also ready to kick some major ass.

Sadly, God’s Not Dead: A Light In Darkness features even fewer famous people than the last two movies, suggesting that the franchise hasn’t really taken off like some of those secular trilogies, but all that matters here is the message. You don’t need Kevin Sorbo or Melissa Joan Hart when you’re trying to convince people that God is not dead (for the third time).
